Privacy Policy

Account details you give us: name or display name, email address, password (stored hashed) mobile number to enforce one free trial per person, and date of birth for age verification. Preferences you choose: favourite sports and teams, odds format and theme. Usage data: pages viewed, selections added to your slip, and messages you send to Sparkles AI. Technical data: device type, browser and IP address.

To create and secure your account and verify you are 18+ (legal obligation and contract); to provide the Service, personalise WIE™ reads and Sparkles responses (contract); to improve, debug and protect the Service and prevent misuse (legitimate interests); and to send service emails such as verification and password resets (contract).

Messages you send to Sparkles, plus limited profile context such as your favourite team, are processed by our AI provider to generate a reply. Please don't share sensitive personal information in chat. Sparkles uses OpenAI models through Lovable's AI gateway. Before you use Sparkles, we ask permission to share your messages, recent conversation, display name, favourite sports and teams, and preferred stake with these providers. Spoken replies additionally send the reply text through Lovable to Google's speech service. You can withdraw permission in Settings → Sparkles AI.

When memory is enabled, recent chat is stored on this device and in your IntelliBet account on Supabase so it can follow you across devices. New chat and Clear Sparkles memory request removal of both copies; account deletion removes the account copy. Network failures may delay removal of the account copy. Turning memory off stops saving new chat to your account. The current transcript is limited to the most recent 20 messages; starting a new day's conversation does not itself guarantee immediate removal of the previous account copy.

Dictation uses your device or browser's speech-recognition service (Apple on iPhone). Microphone and speech-recognition permission are requested when needed. The recognised text is sent as your message; IntelliBet does not save microphone recordings as chat.

We share data with service providers who host our platform, database, email delivery and AI models, all under contract and only as needed to run the Service. We may disclose data where required by law. We never sell your personal data. When you follow an affiliate link to a bookmaker, that operator becomes responsible for the data you give them. Apple and RevenueCat process iPhone subscription purchases and entitlement information; Stripe handles website billing. Device notification and Live Activity tokens are stored to deliver the alerts you enable. Profile photos you upload are stored with our hosting provider.

We keep your account data while your account is open and for a reasonable period after closure where needed to meet legal and record-keeping obligations, then delete or anonymise it. You can request immediate account deletion in Settings, or choose a 14-day recovery window before deletion. Deleting your IntelliBet account does not cancel an Apple subscription; manage that separately in your Apple Account settings.

You can access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your data, and request a portable copy. Many details can be changed directly in your Profile. To exercise any right, email privacy@intellibet.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your theme, odds format and chat history. These are required for the Service to work.

The Service is for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 and will delete any such data we discover.
